Last month, American Airlines (American) announced that in 2024, its international service at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will increase with the addition of new nonstop routes to three European destinations – Copenhagen, Denmark; Naples, Italy; and Nice, France. PHL shared that the news is part of the airline’s most significant transatlantic expansion in four years, marking the first time passengers can fly nonstop from Philadelphia to those European destinations.
