PHILADELPHIA – On February 17, 2016 from 6:30-8pm, the Arts + Business Council of Greater Philadelphia (ABC), through its Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA) program, is launching PA Patent, a statewide partnership with firms around the Commonwealth and with assistance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), to provide under-resourced inventors, makers, startups and nonprofits with the assistance of pro bono patent attorneys. Rob Penn is Director of IP Video Product Operations at Comcast and completed our Business on Board program last May. His path to the Arts + Business Council is an interesting one.
When Rob joined Comcast in 2009, his management recommended he consider joining a board as a way to expand his view on career and community. He tucked it away as an interesting suggestion.
