A message from the Chamber’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Chellie Cameron, to our regional business community as we work together to achieve our Chamber 2028 vision.

Dear Chamber Community, 

Our recent Annual Meeting was a powerful reminder of what makes Greater Philadelphia so special. The energy in that room, the conversations that sparked new ideas, and the many connections formed that day showed the true strength of our business community. When we come together around a shared purpose, we can level up to create real progress. 

That same spirit is guiding our renewed investment in our Chamber membership. The past few years have changed how we all do business, and the Chamber continues to adapt to meet our members where they are and find more meaningful ways for them to engage. 

Membership is the foundation of everything we do. It drives our advocacy at every level of government, supports our efforts to attract and grow industries, and fuels programs that strengthen the workforce and expand opportunities. To keep that foundation strong, we are refreshing our membership structure to better reflect how businesses grow and engage, ensuring every member can find the right level of connection and value.  

We are also making major investments in our membership experience, such as expanding our team and improving internal systems. We want it to be easier than ever for every member to connect with the Chamber and with one another by introducing new ways for members to build relationships that matter, including:  

  • The Member Mixer series. These gatherings are hosted by Chamber members across the region to create opportunities to connect in dynamic settings that spark collaboration and community.  
  • The Leader to Leader series. These small group sessions give senior executives and decision-makers a trusted space to share insights and discuss challenges shaping their industries.  
  • The Ambassador Program. This group of members will play an active role in welcoming others and fostering a sense of belonging.  

We are adding more opportunities for members to take part in smaller, topic-focused roundtables where peers can share experiences and shape solutions. Together, we believe these initiatives will strengthen the culture of connection that defines what it means to be part of the Chamber. 

As we expand these in person and peer-driven experiences, we're also creating better ways to stay connected online. In the coming months, you will see new digital tools and an improved online experience that make it easier to explore resources, register for events, and share your company's story. These updates are part of our broader effort to make membership more accessible, connected, and rewarding. 

As we continue this work, I encourage you to bring your colleagues and peers along with you. Invite them to an upcoming event, introduce them to our programs, or encourage them to consider membership. The more our network grows, the more valuable our advocacy, events, and relationships become for everyone across Greater Philadelphia's business community. 

The momentum from our Annual Meeting was only the beginning. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected Chamber and a stronger, more competitive city and region. Thank you for being an essential part of that progress.
