Partner Requirements

Mentors
Mentors are high-level executives from Chamber member companies (member company must be in good standing). Mentors are respected members of the region’s business community and understand the Chamber’s mission, vision, and goals.

Mentees
Mentees are young professionals who are engaged with the Chamber, usually either through Chamber member companies (member company must be in good standing) or through the Young Professionals Council (YPC). Non-Chamber and Non-YPC members may also be considered for the program. Mentees are committed to leadership development and enhancing personal, professional, and civic engagement to impact regional growth.

Time Requirements
The time requirements for this relationship will be determined by the mentors and mentees (Partners). Partners will decide how often they will get together, in what format, and how long each meeting should be. The Chamber will hold an orientation session for Mentees and three to four formal Partner gatherings throughout the course of the program year.
