CEO Access Network

Forging relationships between large businesses and disability-, LGBTQ-, minority-, and women-owned enterprises
CEO pairings since the program’s inception in 2010

The CEO Access Network, a Diversity & Inclusion program of the Chamber, creates an informal network of relationships between large business CEOs and entrepreneurs from underrepresented populations (disability, LGBTQ, minority, and women) in order to drive business and create economic opportunity for regional businesses and residents. Partners share advice and counsel, as well as networking and business development opportunities. CEO Access is sponsored by Comcast Corporation.

Applicant Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Belong to an underrepresented population aforementioned (disability, LGBTQ, minority, women)
  • Have an existing for-profit business with at least three-year sales history
  • Demonstrate at least $500,000 in annual sales and an increase from the prior year
  • Provide goods, services, technology, capital or resources to create jobs, wealth, and a predictable rate of return to investors and owners

Program Structure

CEO Access is comprised of large business CEOs (Large Partners) who are paired with leaders from disability-, LGBTQ-, minority-, and women-owned enterprises (Small Partners) to share advice and counsel, as well as networking and business development opportunities.

Participants meet collectively three times during the program year to network and discuss their partnerships’ goals, activities, business opportunities, and relevant topics (ex. best practices for business growth).

Large Partners are encouraged to invite Small Partners to join them at Chamber programs and events outside of the CEO Access gatherings and introduce them to new business and social networks. Small Partners are encouraged to interact and touch base with their Large Partners throughout the program year.

The pairings are expected to last for one program year, with the hope of establishing economic opportunities for the minority business and an enduring mutually beneficial relationship for the participants moving forward.
