The Chamber’s CEO Council for Growth (CEO Council) is an advisory council of the largest and most influential business and civic leaders working together to accelerate economic competitiveness and inclusive growth in the Greater Philadelphia region. Their goal is to drive scale in initiatives that demonstrate impact and leverage partnerships with existing organizations and efforts. By exercising their shared experience and collective weight, these leaders work to make the region the best place to live, work, and build a business.

Claire Greenwood is responsible for advancing the Chamber’s work to attract and expand companies, capital, and talent in the Greater Philadelphia region. Through Claire’s direction, she and her team engage C-Suite leaders from Chamber members, partners, and investors to actively work to amplify the region’s competitive advantages and accelerate equitable economic growth.
Claire provides leadership for several Chamber-wide initiatives including Select Greater Philadelphia and the Young Professionals Network. Her work advances economic competitiveness priorities and activities in the energy and life sciences sectors, implementing a multi-platform approach to the region’s talent and workforce challenges, and building the organization’s partnerships and marketing campaigns to ensure that companies and talent “Select” Greater Philadelphia.
Claire also serves as the Executive Director of the Chamber’s CEO Council for Growth, a committed group of more than 50 business, higher education and civic leaders working to make Greater Philadelphia one of the global first tier 21st-century innovation economies.
Claire graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in psychology and received her M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. Claire serves on the Boards of Directors for Campus Philly, Greater Philadelphia YMCA, and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
