Life Sciences Action Team
The Life Sciences Action Team (LSAT) is a unique, cross-functional group of 150+ regional leaders from life sciences companies and its supporting industries. The group comes together to forge new business connections and solve challenges — specifically related to business attraction, talent, and advocacy to advance the Greater Philadelphia’s economic competitiveness.

Greater Philadelphia will collaborate to leverage its life sciences and technology assets and be recognized as the global leader in life sciences innovation with particular emphasis on our region’s unique strength in cell and gene therapy.
Action Team Goals
- Business Attraction through Strategic Promotion: Act as an Ambassador – Leverage the Chamber’s messaging, resources, and tools to actively increase the visibility of Greater Philadelphia’s world-class life science technologies and innovation ecosystem.
- Talent: Build the Community – Communicate the priorities and activities of the Life Science Talent Collaborative and facilitate the formation and collaboration of workforce development working groups with employers and academic leaders.
- Advocacy: Galvanize Public Support – Guide and be an advocate for the Chamber’s aspirational agenda to galvanize public support for life sciences industries.
