A Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia and Mural Arts Philadelphia Collaboration
Philadelphia is a city that wears its heart on its walls. Often called the Mural Capital of the World and recently recognized as the top U.S. city for street art, our creative energy is a major draw for people looking to call this region home. To bring that energy to life, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia partnered with Mural Arts Philadelphia on a collaboration for the “Come for Philadelphia. Stay for Philly.” talent attraction campaign.
A Design Rooted in Community
The centerpiece of this collaboration is a limited-edition tote bag featuring “Clark Park” by Philadelphia-based artist Branche Coverdale. The illustration captures the energy of the Clark Park farmers market, showcasing the vendors and neighbors who make the neighborhood feel like home. It reminds us that Philadelphia isn’t just defined by its skyline; it’s defined by the people and the shared spaces that bring us together. By featuring this art on a functional piece, we are giving people a tangible way to carry a slice of the Philadelphia experience with them wherever they go.

The collaboration made its official debut on a national stage at Amplify Philly‘s Keystone House during SXSW in Austin, Texas. In a setting defined by the intersection of innovation and the arts, the tote bag served as an introduction to our region. Attendees received the bags while engaging with Pennsylvania’s culture and business community, reinforcing the message that Philadelphia offers a unique balance of professional opportunity and vibrant community.
