Inclusive growth is an economic driver that touches every neighborhood in Philadelphia and is the foundation for a thriving business ecosystem in our city. It means creating an environment where all businesses, regardless of size or background, can thrive. By fostering diversity, promoting fair competition, and eliminating barriers, we not only boost our region’s economic potential but also enhance its global competitiveness.

Continuing Our Work
On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, we will decide on Philadelphia’s 100th mayor and many new City Councilmembers.
I am encouraged by the direction our region is moving in — we recently celebrated the designation of two new regional hubs, remarkable developments are on the horizon in the Bellwether District, and Philadelphia is leading the nation in the growth of 25- to 34-year-old college-educated people. Our city needs elected leaders who will join our efforts to continue building momentum as we position Greater Philadelphia on the global stage.
On behalf of the Chamber, my sincerest thanks to those who attended our 223rd Annual Meeting earlier this week. The energy was electric, and it was a pleasure to celebrate our shared regional accomplishments and look ahead to an even brighter future! As we discussed there, to truly make an impact on our region, we each must stay engaged and work together. Making our voices heard on Election Day is key to continuing this trajectory of growth.
As we embrace this new era of leadership at City Hall, the Chamber will work with our elected leaders and stakeholders to position Greater Philadelphia as a top global destination for business and a leader in inclusive growth.
