PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 23, 2023 – The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia (the Chamber) commends the Biden-Harris Administration for designating the Greater Philadelphia Region Precision Medicine Tech Hub as one of 31 Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (Tech Hubs) across the country.
This will harness our region’s life sciences resources, research and development expertise, and clinical trials infrastructure to advance end-to-end precision medicine in areas that include cell and gene therapy, medical devices, artificial intelligence and robots, 3-D printing, nanotechnology, vaccines, and biomanufacturing.
With support from more than 50 organizations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania led the effort to secure the Tech Hub designation with the ultimate goal of advancing the region’s global competitiveness, creating workforce solutions, and delivering innovative new products, tools, and interventions.
