A message from the Chamber’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Chellie Cameron, to our regional business community as we work together to achieve our Chamber 2028 vision.
Dear Chamber Community,
This is a transformative moment for our region.
Governor Shapiro is continuing his first year in office, Philadelphia is preparing to elect a new mayor and members of City Council, and business and civic leaders across the region are creating opportunities for growth and innovation.
As we look ahead to this era of new leadership, the Chamber will continue to serve as a trusted collaborator, convenor, and advocate for our business community and all residents of Greater Philadelphia.
That’s because we are invested in the same issues that our communities care about.
The Chamber is working each day within our new strategy, Chamber 2028: Amplify, Advocate, Grow, to activate strategic partnerships to address safety concerns, build a cleaner and greener city, and increase the quality and quantity of local workforce development programs.
By working together, we can create lasting change in our region – but we need everyone to do their part.
I encourage every member of our Chamber to lean in. The Chamber offers several opportunities to engage before the upcoming November 7, 2023, election:
- Make sure you are registered to vote;
- Visit our 2023 Election Hub to learn more about candidates in the Philadelphia General Election;
- Register to attend our City Council At-Large Candidates Forums on October 3 and October 5; and
- Engage with business and civic leaders at our 223rd Annual Meeting on October 31.
