A message from the Chamber’s President & CEO Rob Wonderling to our community regarding the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Dear Friends,

Last Saturday, as government frameworks emerged for reopening society, we took a pulse of our region’s business community to better understand your thoughts, challenges, and questions as we look ahead to the next phase of this crisis.

Two deceptively simple questions rang the loudest among your responses: When? How?

When can I open my doors? When will it be safe? When will my specific county be ready?

How can I ensure the safety of my employees? How will I get PPE? How do I protect my business?

The answers to these questions, and the many others we have received, will in some cases be straight forward. We’ll be able to point you to an FAQ or a virtual program to meet your needs. Other answers will be highly nuanced according to your company’s location, size, industry, and customer interactions. In those cases, we’re here to provide our members with the customized support needed to find clarity in this complex situation.

In the coming weeks, your Chamber will be working tirelessly to get to the heart of these issues and guide your business through reopening with our organized and thoughtful approach to advocacy and knowledge sharing.

In the meantime, I encourage you to read our brief survey analysis and to continue to engage with our Member Perspective articles to learn from your peers as we face relief and recovery together.

Stay safe, connected, and healthy, and continue to let us know how we can help.
