A message from the Chamber’s President & CEO Rob Wonderling to our community regarding the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Dear Friends,

With each passing day, we all find ourselves donning various masks.

Masks of good cheer to raise the spirits of our friends and family. Masks of confidence needed to continue to steer our organizations into an uncertain future.

And perhaps most importantly, the literal masks that protect us from the further proliferation of this insidious virus.

As masks have become ubiquitous in our society we must not forget the individual behind the mask.

Behind the mask are countless front-line health care workers and first responders. Behind the mask are the employees of grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. Behind the mask are our region’s utility, transportation, and public service workers.

Behind the mask are our fellow citizens. Let’s help protect and support these citizens.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies are still running low nationwide, and I’m asking for your help to address this shortage. Visit our PPE donation page to learn how you can help.

We all have something to contribute, whether you’re the individual sewing masks at your kitchen table, the entrepreneur 3D printing face shields in your garage, or the manufacturer retooling your facility to produce PPE, we’re all in this together.

Stay safe, connected, and healthy, and continue to let us know how we can help.

Rob
