The following letter was sent by the PHL Neighborhood Growth Project to neighborhood, business, and civic leaders.
Over the last year, the PHL Neighborhood Growth Project has been working to improve the opportunities we need to create strong lines of communication between local government, the business community, and neighborhood leaders to create lasting impact and prosperity in every neighborhood.
We are pleased to host a conversation on January 22 about how our local government can prioritize transparency and accountability. We will be joined by Marc Coleman of The Tactile Group, Alison Perelman of Philadelphia 3.0, Rebecca Rhynhart with the City of Philadelphia, Denise Smyler, former general counsel to the Governor of the Commonwealth, David Thornburgh of the Committee of Seventy, and Larry Platt of The Philadelphia Citizen.
When we all come together to ensure our local government is listening to the needs and concerns of our neighborhoods, we will create a shared prosperity for all Philadelphians.
Yvette A. Núñez is the Vice President of Civic Affairs at the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia and a coalition member of PHL Neighborhood Growth Project.
