The following letter was sent by the PHL Neighborhood Growth Project to neighborhood, business, and civic leaders.

Dear Friend,

Last month, at the City Council hearing for our Inclusive Growth agenda, we spotlighted the need for policies and programs that allow individual neighborhoods to thrive and share in an inclusive prosperity across Philadelphia.

But most importantly, we introduced the diverse group of people, businesses, and community leaders who are part of the PHL Neighborhood Growth Project. The very people who are working to make Philadelphia a better place for everyone to live, work, and play.

Watch as Steven Scott Bradley, Chairman of the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE, explains the PHL Neighborhood Growth Project in his own words at last month’s hearing >>

We began last spring to address the deep poverty that affects too many neighborhoods in our city. And we believe, our Inclusive Growth Agenda will help accelerate long-term economic growth and an inclusive prosperity for each of these neighborhoods.

If our city continues to focus on creating good jobs, educating and modernizing our workforce, creating safe and healthy neighborhoods, and putting people first in City Hall, we know growth and prosperity will extend to every neighborhood in Philadelphia.

Thank you,

PHL Neighborhood Growth Project
