2018 brought a record-breaking year to Greater Philadelphia. From the sports world to the business community, the energy could be felt across the region resulting in a plethora of successes. Starting the year off with an Eagles’ Super Bowl LII victory set the stage for a year of new opportunities in our region. At the Chamber, we had a record number of over 1,700 attendees at our annual Mayoral Luncheon to hear Mayor Kenney address important issues impacting the City of Philadelphia. (P.S. – tickets are still available for the 2019 Mayoral Luncheon.) We brought in national figures to speak to our members across industry sectors, including Adena T. Friedman, President & Chief Executive Officer, Nasdaq, Inc. at our 218th Annual Meeting. These achievements provide a great platform to succeed in 2019.
In keeping with our mission to foster growth in Greater Philadelphia, we’re putting a focus on our advocacy efforts, enhancing HR opportunities, championing small businesses, and sparking ideas and innovation for the region. Check out what we have planned for the upcoming year:
