Select’s “Growing Greater Philadelphia” Podcast Highlights Successes in the Region

In April of 2018, Select Greater Philadelphia Council launched the Growing Greater Philadelphia radio and podcast program, an interactive talk show showcasing regional stories hosted on Entercom’s Radio.com. The Growing Greater Philadelphia radio show aims to inform audiences around the world of  collaborative projects and opportunities within the region’s 11-county community.  Over the past several months, listeners have had the chance to hear from regional leaders in various industries discussing business successes, tech innovations, R&D discoveries, construction projects, real estate development, transportation infrastructure, and other milestones.

This ongoing project highlights the important breakthroughs happening daily in the Greater Philadelphia region through different perspectives. Previous guests have included C-suite level executives and other key figures from companies such as Saxbys, Campus Philly, City of Philadelphia, Independence Blue Cross, Think Company, and many more. Through the act of storytelling, Growing Greater Philadelphia sparks conversation around the innovative ways individuals and companies are driving economic growth.

Select Greater Philadelphia’s Executive Director Matt Cabrey sits down with Mentor Reese Blair and Mentee Abel José Perez to discuss how Deloitte is helping high school students achieve their college dreams on Growing Greater Philadelphia.

New episodes are broadcasted every Friday morning on WPHT Talk Radio 1210, a radio station reaching tens of thousands of listeners in our region and thousands more across 38 states. Additionally, the radio show is uploaded in a podcast format the same day featuring bonus material from interviews. The podcast is also available for download on iTunes.
