Diversity & Inclusion: A Year in Review

  • D&I Year In Review

Creating an inclusive environment that engages individuals who are reflective of the full spectrum of our region strengthens our organizations and is key to the success of Greater Philadelphia as a whole. Throughout FY18, the Chamber’s Diversity & Inclusion Initiative has worked to position diversity as an invaluable element to the business community through various programs, events, and thought leadership.

We are proud of the work we have accomplished this year to further this position:

Launched the Diversity & Inclusion Self-Assessment Tool

The Chamber launched the Diversity & Inclusion Self-Assessment Tool to gather best D&I practices from and for our membership. The results will be released this fall and will inform our programmatic work moving forward.

Gathered D&I professionals for key conversations at three exclusive roundtables

The CEO Access Network forged new partnerships

CEO Access Network creates an informal network of relationships between large business CEOs and minority, LGBTQ, and women entrepreneurs in order to drive business and create economic opportunity for urban businesses and residents. This year, the Chamber cultivated 15 large business and minority partnerships.
