The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia announced today that its Vice President for Civic Affairs, Joe Grace is departing to join the campaign of Josh Shapiro for Pennsylvania Attorney General as a senior communications advisor. Grace served as the Chamber’s chief advocate in Philadelphia City Hall since January 2013.
During his tenure with the Chamber, Grace spearheaded the Chamber’s Roadmap for Growth campaign to develop a comprehensive agenda for Philadelphia that promotes job creation and economic prosperity through 2020. Since the launch of the Roadmap initiative, Chamber members and over 145 neighborhood and grassroots civic leaders have conducted more than 25 meetings and events in neighborhoods across Philadelphia, working to develop a shared policy agenda with Mayor Jim Kenney and City Council.
