We recently hosted our Small Business Week the week of April 18 – 22, in partnership with Comcast Business. Each year, this week-long campaign highlights our region’s commitment to small businesses and featured a variety of educational and networking opportunities.

The week’s activities included profiles our small business members, and members who have grown from small businesses in the region.

The week also included a Small Business Networking on N3RD Street event, an educational workshop, Small Business Resources, and the culminating event, Stories of Persistence: Building a Business in Greater Philadelphia (view photos).

At the culminating event, regional business owners and entrepreneurs – Todd Carmichael, Co-Founder and CEO, La Colombe, Justin Rosenberg, Founder and CEO, Honeygrow, Morgan Snyder, Co-Founder, Sweet Bites – joined us to tell us and about the challenges they’ve faced, the opportunities that came along the way, and their unique perspectives on growing a business in the region. The conversation was moderated by Danielle Cohn, Senior Director, Entrepreneurial Engagement, Comcast.
