Last year, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Wells Fargo, and the School District of Philadelphia brought approximately 200 Philadelphia middle schools to sixteen regional businesses to learn about future career opportunities.

Middle school is key in the development of a young person. In order to propel them forward to a successful future in education and career, it is essential to keep these students engaged in school at this critical juncture.

As we prepare for this year’s Future Ready program and curriculum, we looked back to the program’s inaugural experience last year, when students visited various companies and organizations to experience a real-life work environment.
