The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) released the following statement on the appointments of Harold Epps as Commerce Director, Sheila Hess as City Representative, Rob Dubow as Chief Financial Officer and Rebecca Rhynhart as Chief Administrative Officer in Mayor-elect Jim Kenney’s Administration:

“The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to see Harold Epps, Sheila Hess, Rob Dubow and Rebecca Rhynhart receive appointments in the Kenney Administration,” said Chamber President and CEO Rob Wonderling. “Harold Epps has had a notable impact on our organization, serving as an Executive Committee Member of the Board of Directors for more than six years as well as a member of our Policy, Research and Legislative Committee, which guides the Chamber’s public policy positions. Harold has been an adviser on the Chamber’s Roadmap for Growth initiative and attended several community meetings on the Board’s behalf. Speaking for the Chamber’s leadership, I congratulate Harold on this well-deserved appointment. We look forward to working with him in his new role as Commerce Director and Mayor-elect Kenney, especially through the work of PIDC, a 60-year partnership between the City and the Chamber focused on business growth and development.”

Wonderling added, “Mayor-elect Kenney’s other appointments are high quality individuals. Sheila Hess will be a dynamic City Representative. She honed her leadership skills earlier in her career as the first female Chair of the Chamber’s Young Professionals Network and has built a strong reputation at Independence Blue Cross.  We know she will strive to enhance Philadelphia’s reputation as a world-class city. Rob Dubow and Rebecca Rhynhart are two well-respected public servants that have worked hard to keep the City of Philadelphia on a strong fiscal path. The Cha
