Meet ASI Technologies, Inc., our 2015 Technological Service of the Year Excellence Award winner! ASI Technologies Inc. was founded in 1986 by Bernard E. (Barney) Berlinger, Jr. At that time the company developed, manufactured and sold custom engineered transaxle gear drives for 3 and 4 wheel scooters for the walking impaired and wheelchair drives. By 1999 it was the largest single producer of these drives in the world due to its compact designs and manufacturing knowhow. A rapid market reorientation took place allowing ASI product knowledge to be applied to commercial vehicles where owners/operators depend on highly reliable operation and robust designs. Recent products designed specifically for the robotic movement of materials in large warehouses approaching and sometimes exceeding one million square feet in size has grown the company over 220% in the last 12 months.

Why have you kept your business in the Philadelphia region?
