Over 1,300 regional business professionals gathered at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s 212th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 24 to celebrate the Chamber’s accomplishments from the past year, explore its initiatives for the upcoming year, and welcome the newest members of its Board of Directors. In addition, the business community welcomed new GPCC Chairman of the Board of Directors Daniel K. Fitzpatrick, President & CEO, Citizens Bank of PA/NJ/DE/NY, and recognized outgoing GPCC Chairman William P. Hankowsky, President and CEO, Liberty Property Trust.
The program featured a keynote address by Andrea Mitchell, NBC News’ Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent and host of “Andrea Mitchell Reports.” Ms. Mitchell discussed starting her career and attending college in Philadelphia and provided her perspective on the upcoming presidential election.
