Carroll Engineering Corporation (CEC) joined the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) in 2010 and began utilizing eBid Connect immediately.  Navigating through the search page is easy to use and requires very little time and provides a quick response.  The daily notification from the GPCC is also a useful tool in finding the right information rapidly.  All Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are organized and categorized by discipline which makes the site very user friendly.

Like most firms in today’s market, we rely on many sources to search for prospective opportunities and leads.  We need a quick and efficient search that will produce the most information in a small amount of time.  We also need the proper amount of information provided so we may make an educated decision on whether to continue with a proposal or pass.  eBid Connect provides all of this.

Since its founding in 1973, CEC has grown to become one of the largest consulting engineering firms in the Greater Philadelphia area with offices in the Counties of Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester in PA, as well as Somerset County, NJ.  The company provides highly recognized professional services to a wide range of private, public, municipal and authority clients in the region.  CEC offers its clients expertise in multiple areas, including water/wastewater engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, traffic and transportation engineering, surveying, GIS, and construction management.

We have successfully used eBid Connect as another tool to generate opportunities; we encourage other GPCC members to take advantage of the eBid Connect program.
