Yesterday, Chamber President & CEO Rob Wonderling testified before members of the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee urging them to provide appropriate levels of state funding to “ed and meds” in fiscal year 2012-2013. We believe that continued state investment in this area is crucial to our region’s economic survival and recovery as these growth sectors drive employment, promote entrepreneurial development, purchase local services, develop human capital and provide vital community services.
