On Wednesday, April 27, the Chilean & American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia will present its 6thannual “Experience the Taste of Chile” wine tasting and dinner at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts in Wilmington, DE from 5 to 8 p.m. Special guests scheduled to attend include His Excellency Arturo Fermandois, Ambassador of Chile to the US, Christopher Coons, US Senator for Delaware, and Bryan Silberman, President & CEO of the Produce Marketing Association.

Each year, the “Taste of Chile” reception unites more than 200 business and maritime executives, state representatives, and diplomatic officials to celebrate the commercial and trade success between our Greater Philadelphia region and the Republic of Chile.  Our region has become Chile’s gateway into the U.S. market, with 65 percent of all U.S./Chile fruit imports arriving through the Delaware River waterfront. During the past year, Chile has shipped approximately 57 million cases of fruit to the Ports of the Delaware River. Of this, fruits and vegetables were valued at $855 million.

Don’t miss this special evening where we will enjoy and discover a wide range of wines from the long, thin country that many refer to as winemakers’ paradise, coupled with a gourmet dinner highlighting Chilean culinary delicacies, raffles and live music.

 Secure your seats today.
