The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce today testified before the Committee on Public Health and Human Services against City Council Bill 080474, which would mandate paid sick time for Philadelphia businesses.

As a small business owner in Philadelphia for 26 years, with some paid sick days for employees, I agree totally with the testimony Rob Wonderling gave at the City Council. For those of us who provide services by billable hours, this legislation is especially onerous and makes Philadelphia an even more difficult city in which to locate and maintain a business.
