The Philadelphia Federal Credit Union employees appreciate the sacrifices made by our soldiers overseas and wanted to show their support during the holiday season, when many soldiers could not be with their families.
The Credit Union’s reception area served as a collection site for donations. Items such as nonperishable foods, toiletries and other items were collected and donated to Special Forces Detachments from Special Operations Task Force – 10 currently serving in outstations surrounding the national capital of Kabul in Afghanistan. They are part of 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) stationed in Boeblingen, Germany. These Detachments are serving on their third consecutive combat deployment to Afghanistan.
