More than 150 businesswomen gathered this week at the Hyatt at the Bellevue for the Chamber’s 5th annual Women in the Workforce program. The program is held to celebrate the success of women business leaders in Greater Philadelphia and the potential that women in all career levels can achieve.
The event featured a panel of prominent female executives including Brigitte Daniel, Executive Vice President, Wilco Electronic Systems, Inc.; The Honorable Risa Vetri Ferman, District Attorney of Montgomery County; Wendy Hamilton, General Manager, SugarHouse Casino; Patricia Hasson, President, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley; and Joanne Lewers, Partner, Drinker Biddle. Candace “Candy” Duncan, Managing Partner at KPMG LLP, moderated the event.
The panelists shared with attendees inspirational stories about their personal and professional journeys and offered tips on networking, self-promotion, and mentoring. The event also featured interactive, small group discussions with each panelist. The panelists were able to answer questions the attendees had and provide further insight into their successes.
