Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart USA

Arrive at JFK International Airport, where you will board your flight to Moscow, Russia.

Day 2: Arrive in Moscow

Upon arriving at Moscow International Airport, you will be greeted by an Indus Travels representative who will escort you to your hotel. Unpack for your three-night stay in Moscow and enjoy a superior four-course dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Moscow Tour

Tour the Kremlin, the historic fortress in the center of Moscow, which houses many cathedrals and palaces as well as the official residence of the Russian President. During your tour, visit Cathedral Square to view the 15th century Assumption Cathedral, the main church of Russia; the 15th century Annunciation Cathedral, the private church of the Russian czars; and the 16th century Cathedral of the Archangel, the burial place of numerous czars. While at the Kremlin, visit the Armory Chamber, home to a unique collection of gold and silver items dated from the 12th to 19th centuries, Russian arms and armor, state regalia, thrones, carriages and more. During your tour of Moscow, you will also visit Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral, and Arbat Street, the city’s famous pedestrian street. In the evening, you are welcome to explore the local cuisine on your own.

Day 4: Moscow

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then a full day at leisure to explore all that Moscow has to offer.

Day 5: Moscow to St. Petersburg

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before traveling to Moscow Station, where you will board a train to St. Petersburg. Upon arriving in St. Petersburg, check into your hotel for your three-night stay before visiting the Peter and Paul Fortress and Cathedral, the first building built in St. Petersburg. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: St. Petersburg Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg by coach. Created by Peter the Great to rival Venice, St. Petersburg’s 101 islands, 66 canals and hundreds of bridges have secured its reputation as the most beautiful city in the country. Stop at St. Isaak’s Cathedral and St. Isaak's Square before moving on to the Hermitage Museum. One of the largest museums in the world, the Hermitage's collection includes over 2.7 million items, including masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rodin, Rembrandt, Rubens, various French impressionists and more. You will then have the afternoon to explore St. Petersburg on your own.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then a full day at leisure to explore all that St. Petersburg has to offer.

Day 8: Depart St. Petersburg

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before traveling to St. Petersburg International Airport to board your return flight to the USA.

Optional Tours:

In addition to the tours included in your itinerary, you are also free to participate in the below activities. Please note that these tours are subject to availability and require a minimum of 10 guests. All tours must be booked in advance.

Tour One: Metro & Red Square by Night

No visit of Moscow is complete without a tour of its elegant Subway Stations! These beautiful stations are intricately detailed with marble stone, colorful stained glass, mosaics and chandeliers. After touring the stations, take a stroll in Red Square and pass Lenin’s Mausoleum, the current resting place of Vladimir Lenin, and St. Basil’s Cathedral for great photography opportunities.

Tour Two: Evening Canal Cruise

Enjoy the sights of St. Petersburg from a different perspective. Board an evening cruise through the canals of St. Petersburg and River Neva and watch as this great city transforms into the magical place that has inspired generations of artists. Enjoy champagne, caviar and vodka on board while taking in all the wonderful views this city has to offer.

Tour Three: Peterhof Tour

Visit one of St. Petersburg’s most popular attractions, Peterhof. Located on the Gulf of Finland, Peterhof is the former summer residence of Czar Peter the Great and is often referred to as the Russian Versailles for its famed palaces, extensive gardens, terraces of gilded statues and fountain cascades. Enjoy the elegant atmosphere of the baroque gardens and palaces that populate this famed park.

Extended Stay:

Visitors may choose to extend their stay by four days for an additional $750. The extended stay will include

  •  Two nights in Moscow before the main tour
  • Two nights in St. Petersburg after the main tour
  • Breakfast for all four days
  • Airport transfers on the day of arrival and departure
  • Airline deviation fee
