From employees of industry giants and booming startups to programs teaching coding in recreation centers, STEM can play a pivotal role in shaping Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. Businesses are doing what they can to support this growth, cultivating our future workforce through specialized programming, empowering individuals to pursue postsecondary training to fulfill talent needs, and promoting awareness of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.

Business and civic leaders are invited to join the conversation as we bring together panelists from these respective fields across Philadelphia to discuss the benefits behind STEM expansion into neighborhoods and guide how we can support it to leverage the overall economy.
