MarCom Alliance to Lead Panel at Pennsylvania Marketing Summit

The MarCom Alliance will have a major presence at the Pennsylvania Marketing Summit, a daylong conference for marketing executives Oct. 18 at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia.

Panelists include executives from AmerisourceBergen, Drexel’s LeBow College of Business, the Philadelphia Eagles, Rothman Institute and SEI.

Most of the panelists and 70% of the attendees will be marketing leaders from major brands, corporations, cultural institutions, and nonprofits.

Hollister Creative’s Kim Landry to speak about digital marketing and Bigfoot-sized online footprints

Hollister Creative President Kim Landry will kick off the Urban League's 2017 Empowerment Week on Monday, June 5, with an informative workshop on stomping the competition, called “Bigfoot Will Be Found: Why and How to Have a Monstrous Digital Footprint.”

Co-sponsored by the Wharton Small Business Development Center and the Asian Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia, the workshop will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wharton School’s Jon M. Huntsman Hall, 3730 Walnut St, Philadelphia.

Hollister Creative President to mentor emerging leaders at United Way event on May 23

Hollister Creative President Kim Landry is among the 24 senior executives and business owners who will provide career advice to emerging women leaders during the second-annual Ready, Set, Mentor event presented by the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Next Generation (WING) network.

The program, on May 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., will advise women leaders under 35 on how to advance their careers, succeed in a male-dominated industry, achieve work-life balance and more.

The event will take place at the Pyramid Club,1735 Market Street, 52nd Floor, Philadelphia,
Registration costs $35 for WLI Members and $45 for nonmembers.

Philadelphia Marketing Communications Agency Hollister Create Designed Graphic Identity for DesignPhiladelphia 2016

Hollister Creative, the national award-winning marketing communications firm, created the graphic identity for the 12th annual DesignPhiladelphia festival, taking place October 6-16. Based on the 2016 theme HOME, the graphic appears on all festival promotional materials, the website http://2016.designphiladelphia.org, and the cover of the event guide, which Hollister Creative produced. Inspired by a classic cross-stitch sampler motif, the graphic updates that old-fashioned concept of home with a modern twist.


DesignPhiladelphia includes more than 100 events showcasing the work of thousands of local designers, architects and creative professionals. Hollister Creative is among the festival’s nearly 40 sponsors.

Kim Landry, president of Hollister Creative and co-founder of the MarCom Alliance, will be a featured speaker on Creating Audience Buy-In Across all Marketing when the MarCom Alliance Engagement Road Show hits the road in October.

The Engagement Road Show stops on October 21 at the Main Line Chamber of Commerce in Wayne and October 28 at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce in Center City. Networking takes place from 8:30-9:00 am. Presentations run from 9:00-11:00 am.

Each Road Show features short presentations by leaders of multiple MarCom Alliance partner firms. Speakers will focus on their firm’s area of specialty and share three top tips for engaging external audiences, which might be prospects, customers, donors, volunteers, or any other group whose decisions and behaviors affect the success of your organization. Hollister Creative President Kim Landry Elected Vice Chairman of Main Line Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Kim Landry, President of Hollister Creative, a Philadelphia marketing communications agency, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce (MLCC) Board of Directors. The Board includes senior executives from the region’s largest companies, lawyers, entrepreneurs, business financing experts, consultants and nonprofit leaders.

The MLCC is an influential business advocate, representing more than 900 companies located primarily in Delaware, Chester and Montgomery counties. The MLCC promotes economic growth, educates the business community, helps MLCC member companies succeed, and enhances the quality of life on the Main Line.

Landry joined the MLCC board in July 2012. Since then she has chaired the Cross Industry Groups (CIGs) leadership committee, overseeing growth from one CIG to seven. Landry was asked to serve on the Executive Committee in August 2015. In assuming the Vice Chairman position in 2016, she also became Chair of the Board Development Committee.

Hollister Creative Wins Trio of 2015 Communicator Awards

Hollister Creative, a Philadelphia area marketing communications agency, has been honored with a trio of 2015 Communicator Awards. The honors bring the firm's count of international awards to 22 in the last 3 years.

This year, Hollister Creative received 3 Silver Awards:

• A custom website for Precision AirConvey, a manufacturer of trim and matrix removal systems.

• An 8-panel capabilities brochure for Dunleavy & Associates, a professional services firm for nonprofits.

• A 2-page fundraising appeal letter for the nonprofit Women’s Humane Society.

Billed as the “leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications,” the Communicator Awards receives more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes.

Winners were selected by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only panel of leaders from well-known multi-media companies, including Conde Nast, Disney and Time.

Hollister Creative Art Director, Heidi Karl, Wins International Design Award

Philadelphia marketing communications, graphic design and website design firm Hollister Creative has been named a Silver Winner in the 2014 Davey Awards. The annual awards honor small firms that win results for their clients through out-of-the-box thinking.

Hollister received silver honors in the Print Design for art director Karl Heidi's design of a folder and inserts for Penn Libraries' Orrery Society. Hollister Creative worked with Penn Libraries' staff to develop a high-end folder to impress potential donors during visits.

The Davey Awards received more than 4,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms and other graphic designers around the world.

“The Davey Award winners truly embody the idea of small firms with big ideas. The work entered into this year's competition reflects a smart approach to creativity that highlights the capabilities and talents of small agencies worldwide,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Davey Awards.

Hollister Creative wins trio of international awards for magazine and brochure designs

Hollister Creative, a Philadelphia marketing communications, graphic design and website design firm, has won top honors for the third year in a row in the international MarCom Awards competition.

The awards bring Hollister's total in national and international marketing, design and communications competitions to 18 in the last three years.

This year's MarCom competition drew more than 6,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and 34 countries, with judging based on a point system for standards of excellence.

Hollister earned Gold Awards for branding, for its work in rebranding Haverford law firm Berman Voss; interior page design, for its work on Drexel University's College of Medicine Alumni Magazine; and a third Gold Award for its creation of a folder and inserts for the Penn Libraries' Orerry Society.

The MarCom Awards program is an international creative competition that recognizes “outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals.”

Hollister Creative founder Kim Landry named a 2013 Woman of Distinction

Hollister Creative founder and president Kim Landry has been named a 2013 Woman of Distinction by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The Women of Distinction awards honor “the most influential women in Philadelphia” for their professional accomplishments and for their community involvement.

Honorees will be profiled in a special section of the Philadelphia Business Journal on November 15 and presented their awards at a gala banquet November 19 at the Sheraton Downtown Philadelphia Hotel.

Landry, 58, founded Hollister Creative in the attic of her Bryn Mawr home in 1990 and has built it into a regional marketing communications firm whose clients include universities, foundations, cultural institutions, sports teams and leading companies in the fields of technology, business services, construction, real estate, education and health and human services.

Marketing communications firm Hollister Creative hosts June 6 ribbon-cutting ceremony at new Bryn Mawr offices

Hollister Creative, a Philadelphia area marketing communications firm, is celebrating the official opening of its new Bryn Mawr, Pa. offices and design studio with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on June 6.

The firm's clients, vendors and friends will be in attendance, as will delegates from the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, where Hollister Creative President Kim Landry is on the Board of Directors. The Chamber honored Hollister Creative as its Small Business of the Year in 2011.

Hollister Creative President Kim Landry to be honored at national women business owner event

Hollister Creative President Kim Landry, who has led her Philadelphia-area marketing communications firm to 50 national and international awards in the last five years, will be honored at the "Decades of Excellence" awards gala hosted by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) on May 10 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Landry will be inducted into the "Decades of Excellence" Hall of Fame in honor of her 10 years of certification as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE).

For Landry, the honor is both welcome and unexpected. "I didn't know that I was in the first wave when I sought WBE certification back in 2003, so the honor surprised me," Landry says. "To be one of only 200 woman-owned businesses certified by NWBOC for so long feels pretty special when there are more than 8 million women business owners in the country today."
