How to Tell Start-up Stories

Posted to Event by Ms. Victoria Lee of at 3:14 PM

There are certain prerequisites to being an entrepreneur. Topping the list? Perseverance. Being told “no” is just another daily meal you have to stomach. But, when it comes to pitching a story, there are some golden rules to follow. Wrongfully interpreted perseverance can “turn off” a reporter. It’s about being timely, strategic, and transparent.

Join us on January 20th as we talk about crafting your startup story.

When is the right time to reach out to a reporter? What are some stories from Philly’s thriving startup community that you haven’t heard? These are some of the topics we’ll be discussing — while also taking questions from the audience.

Most importantly, we will answer YOUR questions live during the round table discussion. Enter them in advance or register to have the recorded conversation emailed to you afterwards.
