Hollister Creative, the national award-winning marketing communications firm, created the graphic identity for the 12th annual DesignPhiladelphia festival, taking place October 6-16. Based on the 2016 theme HOME, the graphic appears on all festival promotional materials, the website http://2016.designphiladelphia.org, and the cover of the event guide, which Hollister Creative produced. Inspired by a classic cross-stitch sampler motif, the graphic updates that old-fashioned concept of home with a modern twist.
DesignPhiladelphia includes more than 100 events showcasing the work of thousands of local designers, architects and creative professionals. Hollister Creative is among the festival’s nearly 40 sponsors.
Organized and presented by the nonprofit Center for Architecture and Design, DesignPhiladelphia attracts participation by universities, cultural institutions, civic associations, city agencies, retailers, manufacturers, and startups across the city.
