How to Protect Your Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations Business

Posted to Announcement by Ms. Priyanka Agarwal of Hiscox Business Insurance at 11:22 AM

Marketing plays a critical role in the success of any business. From advertising and public relations to digital and social media, marketing creates awareness and generates business for your clients. Since you are being entrusted with the responsibility of protecting and promoting the image of your client, should you ever do anything that negatively impacts their bottom line or reputation, your business could be sued.

A claim or lawsuit can be costly, even if you haven't made a mistake. If you're operating a business, you need to be prepared to be sued for just about anything, whether the suit has merit or not. If you're found to be liable, the cost of a judgment could put you out of business.

For more information on how to protect your business, read on.

5 Smart Business Pitch Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs

Posted to Announcement by Ms. Priyanka Agarwal of Hiscox Business Insurance at 2:22 PM

The struggle of women entrepreneurs is not news. For at least the past decade, women have been issued fewer loans than their male counterparts. The interest rates of these loans are often higher than the average rate for similar amounts.

Numerous organizations have grants for female entrepreneurs, but women will inevitably need to rely on traditional capital investors. By using these pitching strategies, you may be able to obtain larger loans with fair interest rates.
