Infographic: Small Business & Consumer Driven Health Care

Posted to Announcement by Ms. Janet Tirado of PrimePay, LLC at 12:05 PM

Forty-five percent of consumers don’t know what their health care expenses will be this year. Do you? That’s a scary reality, especially when you’re trying to budget for the future.

As the price of health care continues to rise, one phrase is starting to make quite some noise: consumer driven health care. An increasing number of small business owners are turning to these types of pre-tax health plans to combat the rising health care premiums.

Plans like health savings accounts (HSA), health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), and flexible spending accounts (FSA), are paving the way for this new consumerism concept. But according to research from Alegeus, most consumers are still unsure of how to take full advantage of them.

The infographic visually represents the research from Alegeus that explains just how much consumers are spending on health care, how pre-tax plans can help your small business and provides real examples of consumer savings.
